Kamut®

Kamut® is the commercial name for khorasan wheat. It is a grain native to Egypt and is grown organically in North America. Kamut® belongs to the same botanical genus (Triticum) as wheat and is part of the “ancient cereals” whose culture dates back to prehistory and have changed little since. Kamut® is rich in carbohydrates and protein. It also contains essential amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, fiber, vitamins B and E, trace elements, calcium, iron, selenium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, sodium and zinc.
